Polar Express was sold as a bottle kid on a whim because I thought I would repeat the breeding eventually. I made it clear that we would want him back if they weren’t using him, and the kept that promise. Soon after Saturn passed they offered him back. I am so thankful to have this boy back at Moon Station!

His sire, Castle Rock Pineapple Express *B, is one not to be ignored. Pineapple’s dam is GCH Castle Rock Snownamie 2*M 4*D VEEE 90. Snownamie is also the dam of the the 2015 National Champion, CH Castle Rock Flash Flood. Flash is what sold me on the Castle Rock herd when I started my journey into goats. His sire, Castle Rock Cleveland Sage, has at least 9 finished champion daughters, 7 of them being SGCH.

Now for Polar’s dam, the late CH Little Tots Estate Saturn EEEE 92. Saturn was a once in a lifetime doe for me. Bought for just a few hundred dollars and went on to win more Best in Show wins than any other Nigerian. Saturn was made of triangles and her feet and legs never aged!
Saturn produced some lovely daughters, but the most awarded is CH Moon Station Ophelia EEEE 93, the third ever Nigerian to be appraised a 93. Ophelia was also the 2nd place 4 year old at the 2024 National show. She was second to the National Champion! Also recognizable is CH Moon Station Calypso VEEE 92 who we lost suddenly this year.
We have just one daughter of Polar Express here, out of CH Little Tots Estate Opelika. Lunar Eclipse looks so much like her granddam Saturn! We are excited for her future here.
